About Me

My name is Charles McPherson. I was born in Florence SC to great parents who enforced good values and guidelines. Church was a regular function but at an early age I began pondering the thought that there had to be more to God than just a religious experience on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Throughout my teen years I went the way of the world but because of my inquisitive nature about who God is, I searched in many wrong places, as I thought there must be more to God than Sunday morning. This lead me to eastern mysticism, Indian magic and martial arts. However, there came a time when I had to choose Christ or the other, as the two cannot and will not coexist. Because of the seeds planted in me and the fact I never abandoned my belief that Jesus was the Son of God, His mercy overwhelmed me and I came to the One who gave His life for me.

On December 13, 1982 the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “walk across America for me.” In the Spring of 1983 I began my journey, but things did not go well in the beginning. I delayed the walk and spent time praying. Then in October of that year I went to Atlanta Ga. to work in a street mission until the first of the year. That is when I met my wife Becky.

Becky and I were married in March of 1984 and in April we began walking across the U.S. telling others about Jesus.

After the walk across America we spent some time traveling from city to city sharing Christ as well as preaching when the doors opened. I have worked with homeless and with drug addicted.

Becky and I have seen God do some mighty things in the lives of others. I have also spent some time in Honduras and Sudan doing mission and relief work.

I had taken a break from ministry for several years but never a break from Jesus. It has been during this break the lord began to speak many of the truths I will be sharing here.

It is not for great education that anyone should listen to me or the podcast but if you listen with a open heat and mind, I believe you will discern I have in fact walked with God and what I say here is indeed supported by scripture.

We are truly entering into a wonderful time. Yes, judgement lay just ahead, but God has something wonderful for His Church, some of which He has shown me in part.

About public speaking: I do not seek out public speaking, but I do still speak when asked. I do not require a fee but I do ask for expenses. I do except offerings.
