My spirit has been flying today. I am hearing the Spirit of the Lord say many things about this time we are in. Thoughts flowing up into my spirit as Father refreshes me with many of the words He has given in the past.
The first thing I hear is that we, the Church of the Most High God, must look ahead and not back. Many things are changing. While some things will keep its present look, God is calling His Church to a different (higher) place. A place where there is greater relationship with Him and with each other. God is calling His people into one body relationship.
In order to get where He is taking us, we must keep our eyes and trust on Him. Those things in the past are not for this day. Some people will remain in this day but the promise is in front of us.
This is an epoch moment, and epoch moments have a time in which those who respond can respond. It is a time of great decision. For the Church and church leaders, it is a time of repentance and seeking God for strategy.
I have for 2 years declared it is a time for leaders in the body of Christ to enter into community and National Ekklesia to seek God for strategy for whole community, as well as National and global reaching.
For many spiritual leaders it is time to remove the attitudes that created the boundaries that has limited the reach, influence and growth of local bodies.
As to the local church moving forward, every community is different and leaders from each community must, as one body, seek God for their own strategies.
We have entered a time of change and we must not look back. This is not a time for those who God has burdened, to seek Him for things, but seeking Him with all our hearts, that He reveal to us how we can give our lives to birth this thing God is doing. It is God who does all things, but it is us by whom He accomplishes them.
Greatness (not self-aggrandizement or fame), always comes with a great risk. All who have accomplished world changer (not fame and fortune) status have put their very lives at risk. God has called His Church to be world changers and Kingdom expanders.
In this moment we are in today, the Church is frozen. Many are frozen and overcome by fear. We have never been here before and the counsel of men has failed us.
We have been much like Yehoshua, (Joshua) standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand resisting him. (Zach. 3) But the LORD Himself rebukes Satan and commands clean clothes to be placed on His High Priest. We are the body of our High Priest, Yehoshua HaMashiach. It is our garments that are filthy. Our sins have defiled His garments and given place to the devil to resist the work of our High Priest.
The whole world lies in wickedness, and for those who will, our partnership with the world is ending. God is calling His Church to a new higher place declaring, come out from among them.
God is calling His Church to tear down those traditions and teachings that have limited our ability to enter into the fullness He provides us in Christ.
Each one of us must search our own hearts. Every man, every woman and every accountable child must come before the Lord and seek His heart for their own personal repentance and lives. I sense corporate actions as one body would be beneficial too, as we are one body.
The future is here and it does not look as we expected, but God is in it.
There is a great day ahead where God’s people will shine like the Son. Our Father will fulfill every word that He has declared in scripture. To get there we must take courage and as one body hear from God and move with Him.
There will be those who will be left behind and even resist what God is doing. The religious have many times withstood moves of God’s Spirit. Having nothing of God to offer the people, they themselves filled with envy, jealousy and self-importance have resisted moves of God’s Spirit.
So often church leaders don’t recognize what God is doing because the Spirit is not moving in accordance to denominational or personal understanding or traditions that create barriers. We must have a constant ear to the breast of the Father.
Out of nowhere from within local communities, the Spirit of God will raise up local men and women, business men, teachers many in governments etc., who will have a pure heart for God, and will lead the body of Christ into a new vision of community and beyond. This does not mean local congregations will disappear. It means local congregations will act in partnership, moving in agreement with God given strategy, working to display and express the love of Jesus, in many ways, to whole communities. The Church will see the vision of reaching into different areas with strategies we have never employed.
